The five steps

- ✓ done Back up The current vocabulary schema is kept as the previous schema; nothing is dropped before the swap.
- ✓ done Apply The updater loads the release into a staging schema with the operator's credential or file, then swaps it in.
- ✓ done Verify The vocabulary counts match the release, the expansion report lists every licensed expansion enabled, and the healthcheck is green.
- ✓ done Recover Swap the previous schema back and run the verification again.
