Crossfoot's mission is to democratize publicly funded healthcare data: collect what the law already requires the industry to publish, check it, and put it within everyone's reach — no middleman — so the dark corners of the healthcare system get light, and better care at the best cost has numbers behind it.

It works one analysis at a time. The first is prior authorization denials: 536 filings from 96 insurers across 49 states, every figure traced to the plan's own document and checked against itself — together, a 13.6% denial rate. More analyses will follow.
